The mission of the association is to provide one voice for all coaches in the Houston Independent School District to address issues that concern athletics locally and state wide.

Our mission is to provide the community in which we serve with strong leadership and assistance whenever needed. To teach young men and women the rules of life using sports as a tool to teach fair play and the value of hard work to become successful in the game of life. The final goal of the 1stHC is to provide recognition for the coaching accomplishments each year within the Houston Independent School District.
